NTUC N AIA only accept credit card for first time payment -suvsequent is cash /nets

Hi, wish to confirm again, is it rebate credited after the quarter in the beginning or at the end of the next month's billing cycle? Thanks.

I don't know what is so difficult to understand. My quarter end on 25th Sep, the rebate is credited on 25th Sep itself after they generate the statement so its immediately at the start of next quarter.

My recent renewed UOB One just got compromised. Bank noticed 10 suspicious online transactions for World of Warcraft since 4pm and called me to verified.

The credit card was terminated and I will not be liable for the transactions. Strange that I only use the card for recurring Starhub bills and Caltex petrols.

the situation leading to card being compromised, may have happened more than a year ago. 2 DBS altitude american express, last used 1 year+, were compromised. or perhaps the problem is on the bank side.

most of us should be aware that UOB calculate the rebate based on the post date, not transaction date.

The post date can be 3-4 days later depending on the merchant. Therefore, better have enough buffer towards end of the month.

BTW, i noticed that some merchant is able to post the transaction on the same day, one of them in breadtalk.

Therefore, those who want to chiong and hit the $800 or $1500 spending, can do so at breadtalk.

Example 1:
Statement on 13 Sep --> 13 Aug - 12 Sep refer as qualifying period for Sep?
Statement on 13 Oct --> 13 Sep - 12 Oct refer as qualifying period for Oct?
Statement on 13 Nov --> 13 Oct - 12 Nov refer as qualifying period for Nov?

Example 2:

It's based on posting date.
However, sometimes you didn't hit the limit because the posting date exceeds the statement date, you can call them and request for them to still give you the rebate if you still spend the limit. I tried that before.

Example 2 is correct.

An easy way to check your qualifying period cycle is check your rebates. If you consistently spend $300 every month, the month you get the $30 cashback is the first month of the quarter.
