Need recommendations on gaming rig

Planning to build in end jan to feb to replace my 4+ years old laptop.

Budget ~$2k (if can lower better) :D

Includes OS, monitor, KB and mouse.
Can play BF4 in mid to high settings.
1 SSD, 1 HDD
ODD goot to have but optional

Possible to do? :s11:

Is there an AMD setup that can perform similarly or better at the same or cheaper price to the recommendations above?

Its better to stick with intel with the cpu tbh its better . The gpu is AMD though

Intel is overrated.

Many retailer in Singapore avoid selling AMD product due to its low popularity hence importer import less AMD product and this cycle goes on.

Ssd and rams are on the way here now from Amazon.

MSI R9 280X seems to be very hot property nowadays. Any difference if I get a gigabyte r9 280x?

Just choose any brand that you are comfortable with. My personal preference is the msi variant as it is quiet with dual fan. Rather than the gigabyte 3 fans.
