I just apply for this plan 200Mbps.

On my Lenovo IdeaPad Y470, I am getting 26.54Mbps. Should it be higher?

I am using RT-N56U.

RT-N65U is less than 7m away from me.

The wireless network card is Qualcomm Atheros AR9285.

What speed am I suppoed to get at least? :(

I think that's the kind of speed you get if you're using wireless. I might be wrong. :)

The speed should be hitting near 200Mbps if you're connected via cable though.

200mbps with the same wireless card. Something is wrong somewhere.

If notebook do not have 5Ghz wifi then must buy Dual Band USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 adapter. U can look at ASUS sitex price list as a guide and of course other brand also can as long as Dual Band. If notebook got usb 3.0 port then can buy usb 3.0 dual band adapter or else it will be usb 2 speed only.

just re-contracted M1 200mbps yesterday
before was using M1 100mps and both my homeplug 115 and sineoji 600 can hit 100mpbs or near to it ...
but since yesterday, both homeplugs (plug direct to wall) only hit 50+mbps :(
pull a direct cat 5e cable from ONT to pc, only 120+mbps ...

wat the ~!@#.... :s11::s8:

wonder if M1 can do a loopback test to verify my port is really getting near 200mbps

but using cable direct still only manage 117mbps... very bad ..
could it be my PC problem?
anything to tune, to stop? :s11:

U just sign 200Mbps so may be have not activated your new speed so still at 100M. Better call up M1 to tell them to activate your new 200Mbps speed.

Maybe the cable you use to connect got problem or your network card cannot support gigabit speed?

I'm using an all-in-one motherboard with gigabit network port.
OS report it is running at 1.0gbps

if I add on a new gigabit network card will it help?
any recommendation for gigabit network card?

15mbps? you mean speed test?

I'm using homeplug sineoji ... performance is same as 100mbps :s22:

at time will encounter websites like keep waiting .. and pc also stuck for a while ... also suspect my pc got some part to play with the slowness .. but it is not doing anything heavy ...sigh

I think something is wrong with the router and receiver, before I was using a $20 cheap adaptor my speed was limited at 1.5mb/s . After change to ac adaptor it was 3 time faster

The 1.5 mb/s is the actual downloading speed, not the speed test

with speedtest result of 100mbps, I get around 10-12mbps actual download.
I can bare with this type of performance at the moment since this speed can download a FHD mkv movie in a few hours :D, and also monthly bill is cheaper by 25%

Hmm I m ok with the speed actually , 1-2 mb/s already good enough for me. Although some ppl can get to 7-8 mb/s
