Would like to have the same deep bass and clarity effect as the ATH-CKS77.. but the ATH-CKS77 didnt serve me well..
after one year all the end points of the cable start to wear off.. so i am considering flat cable
this time

You can try out the Sennheiser HD429, personally felt that it is light and with a light clamping force it is quite comfortable also. For comparison you can compare it with the Audio Technica WS55X. For gaming wise would prefer the Sennheiser.

Actually even with flat wires, the earphones will still spoil easily if they are not taken care properly.

You can consider the Skullcandy Aviator also, personally find it more comfortable than the Monster N-Tune. If you're looking for a more balanced sound signature then the M50 would be one of the best choice.

Hi, I'm looking for a pair of earpiece for my little sister..*This will be the 4th pair Im buying her in 2years.. Since she either lose or spoil it.. Previously bought her m50 also lost.. Freaking hell..

So this time I'm only going for a earpiece with a budget of $50.
Only thing I'm looking for is decent Isolation.. Of cos with e budget, I understand I get what I pay.. But please kindly recommend what suit my needs this time. Thank you.

Congratz on your new hoot! We are sure you will be spending lots of time enjoying them. On the subject if headphone amps/Dacs improves sound quality is quite dependent on individual as the difference can be rather subtle at times. Especially when if one is unfamiliar with the sound signature of the products tested, it might take quite a while to hear the differences. The quality and type of music used for auditioning and very active listening will affect your impression as well.

A few you can consider, mainly the Shure SRH240 and the Sennheiser HD205. If they are too bulky for your liking, you can consider the Audio Technica WS33X which would be slightly smaller.

I auditioned the WS33X and the WS55X today. The WS55X has a better bass and tighter (I can't find a better word for it) at the hi-end than the 33. Guess 15mm in the driver diameter really makes that much a difference.

But sadly, the 55 is a little over budget so went the 33 instead. Nevertheless, still a good buy @ under $100.

You can give a try on the Soul by Ludacris SL99S Samsung, A-Jays 5 and Monster Diesel In-ears. Personally will prefer the Diesel, we have demo for them at our outlets do feel free to drop by and give them a try.
