Planning to get these for my audio headphone setup.
AuneT1 = 145usd with shipping = 190sgd~
HD650 = 380usd with shipping = 500sgd~

Is it recommended/worth it compared to amazon/sg prices?

650 almost always goes on sale. but 500SGD is a good price. I would skip the aune and put that money somewhere else. Unless you're on a budget.

Whats your recommendation for an amp/dac for the hd650?
I heard good things about magni/modi or o2/odac stack. But in sg it cost roughly $400-$450. Is it worth it compared to the Aunet1?

Really depends on how much you are willing to spend. Magni modi, odac, matrix amps, audinst amps, audio gd. You have a couple of options. The reason I was against you purchasing the amp straight out is that you have not tested it. Whereas with a HD650 you can audition it at Stereo. I'd suggest you purchase the 650 then decide what amp you want. As most of the amps listed can be tested in SG. Unless of course the Aune has a set you can test as well

You can consider the Solid Bass series from Audio Technica. Particularly the WS77. For comparison will be the JBL J88.

You can give the Audio Technica CKS77X a try. If you would still find it bass too overpowering, the Ultimate Ears 600vi might be a better choice.

What type of usage: Commute or at times critical listening in an almost-silent room

File format used in your source : 16/24bit FLAC

Genre of music you listen to: Taiko, Female vocal, New Age.

Headphone / earphone type: Westone or AT IEM only

Other requirements (if any): Detachable cable for easy upgrade when required.

Budget (in figures): $200 - $400

Remarks : currently using Westone 3 but I found that it produced slight hisses during critical listening particularly in Taiko when the drum is strike, there is this very distinct hiss after the drum is strike. Female vocals is also not impactful or lack clarity with Westone 3. Would prefer a Westone or AT to address my issue with Westone 3 or maybe Fiio X3.

Perhaps you would like to try the higher end model from Audio Tech, the CKS1000.

Any particular sound preference? Actually how durable the earphones will be will depend on the condition that they are used in and such. Also how they are being stored. Would actually say that all earphones are on an equal durability level. Since you were using the TDK IE800, perhaps you would like to give the JVC FX-T90 and Audio Technica ATH-IM70 a try.
