can't upgrade with kies also, says GALAXY Note3 (SM-N9005) does not support :(

then maybe my set is due for updating except that i was not being prompted.

i'm using kies 3.

it only shows not supported when i go into firmware upgrade/initialization. Other than that its detecting my phone fine, able to xfer files etc all ok...

damn weird

not available to me OTA or on kies3 tho lol.

kies 3 will show my current firmware and say no update firmware available.

when i go to firmware upgrade/initialization manually, it will say SM-N9005 not supported

Samsung has not configured KIES 3 to support Kitkat update via computer yet or has not pushed Kitkat into KIES 3 yet, either way ba...

So, you can't update to Kitkat via KIES 3 yet at the moment.
