First time checking in here. Too many pages.

1. So existing customers with contract can upgrade to this 1Gbps plan?

2. If so, what are the charges involved?

3. Then the contract expiry is 2 years from when the 1Gbps plan starts or existing contract expiry + 2 years?

Thanks.

1. Yes.

2. A one-time standard service activation charge of $58 for ULTRA and GAMER applies under this promotion.

3. The new contract will start and your existing contract will be void upon the installation date of the 1Gbps.

Hi

Am looking to sign for this by MR.

Currently I have this Huawei HG256s from my previous contact with Starhub, can I use this with MR's 1GB package? I know the speed won't hit the 1GB, but I don't need it as only using for normal home use. Or die die need to have at least the Asus basic router for decent performance?

Authorised Distributors,

Kindly pm me if you have any sign up bonus for new subscribers. Just trying to stretch my dollar here. :) Looking to sign up within the next 2 days.

Thanks for reading. .

Hi,

Firstly, Cool! 999 posts!

In response to your statement, the VAS for HomeVoice is only for those who takes up the svc with one time $49 for installation and activation. Whereas the monthly is $2.88/mth which is reasonable. Just look out for more in time to come. MyRepublic is always innovating their services.

For Teleport, normal charges is ONLY $5/mth! Which you use to access contents online. As compared to getting paid subscriptions... definitely more savings. I hope these reasons might help you in your perspectives.

Ultimately, $49.99/mth for 1000Mbps! plus $2.88/mth and $5/mth... Topped with Best Network Infra... Well worth the package..

Cheers!
Marc

If I am an existing Starhub Subscriber where I am eligible to cancel from 15 Mar 2014 onwards,

- Do I need to arrange with Starhub for the cancellation and provide them with 1 Month notice, thus I have to calculate ahead the date at which Starhub fibre will be canceled and arrange with MY to install the new plan on the same day?
- I heard from MyRepublic Phone Marketing rep that MY will arrange with Starhub for the cancellation, thus I don't have to do anything on my end. Is this true?
- Or is it possible for me to get MY 1Gbps fibre plan up and running in my home, then I cancel my Starhub plan? Not sure if a home can allow 2 fibre plans from different service providers at the same time. I see the fibre termination box has 2 points, so in theory it should work?

Hi,

My advice is for you to get your MyRepublic Service to be up and running first before you do the cancellation for your Starhub plan. This is due to reasons that your installation date is not definite and there might be issues before getting your service which is unforseen. Also to avoid service disruptions for your internet connectivity. And yes you can have 2 internet service running at your premise.

MyRepublic do not arrange for cancellation with your current ISP as we will not know what are the issues with your current ISP e.g. Outstanding Balance, etc. Best if you PM me for further details.

For Buyback Contract Promo applicable to those on other ISPs, customers are to submit either copy of old contract or termination bill(only to be done after installation of new myrepublic line) to MyRepublic or their respective Sales Rep like myself. MyRepublic will credit to your subscription account UP TO $200 after verification. Credit will be assigned based on either the final termination bill amount or the total sum of charges left on the existing contract (monthly fee multiplied by number of months left on the contract rounded up to the nearest month, starting from the activation date of the MyRepublic line.

Do PM me if you require more details as mentioned above. I will be happy to assist you.

Cheers,
Marc

thanks for the detailed explanation. I also felt that getting MR's plan up and running is better before doing anything to the old plan.

You have been very helpful. However, I have already signed up with MR liao
