Any reviews for Sunway hotel?

You mean the one in Georgetown? Hotel itself is nothing special, just that it has a great location with the night hawker street right next to it.
But because of that the road becomes one way only after a certain time, so remember that if you are driving back in the evening, or the locals will give you dirty looks....;)

M at hard rock penang now.
Find its e best as compared to Bali and SG.
Today, they hav foam party for kids and its amazing to see kids dancing to PSY's Gentlemen (lead by the staffs)
Prices are pretty decent, almost the same or slightly cheaper than a cafe in SG after exchange rate.
One thing to SIC VVimpt - HRH offers free shuttle bus frm hotel to the Batu Ferringgi night market! So dun waste $$ take cab!

Cititel is near to Geroge Town Heritage sites and walking to the a few tourist spots like Cheong Fatt Tze Mansio and Camera Museum are just walking distance. Nice hawker kopitiam and foodcourt are also closed to the hotel.

As for Royal Hotel, you may need a transportation to visit George Town Heritage site. If you need any helps in Penang, please ping me. I am a license tourist guide and ready to give a helping hand.

It's my first time going to penang and it's 4d3n but my return flight is in the morning. Is there enough time to visit most of the key places?

It is more than enough if you are not travelling on Rapid Penang. You will waste a lot of time waiting for the buses. It is best to hire a driver to take care of your itinerary. If you want to see fireflies or eagles, you may ping me.

Went to Toy Museum, not bad, but kinda small, walk one hour finished already. Very interesting, many cartoon figures inside. Can take picture also. Think entrance fees is 20Rm per person.

Street art or wall murals have attracted local and oversea tourists to George Town to snap photos. If you are the murals or 3D picture fun, you may consider 3D museum in George Town. It was officially launched last November. If you need my help, please ping me.

you can try many good food in penang; cendol, laksa, popiah, their hokkien mee, chee chong fan, bbq crabs & prawns..etc.

their famous white curry noodles,

mykuali.net

I believe the white curry noodles are the instant noodle pack. A few shops in George Town are selling it. For laksa, most people try Air Hitam laksa but seldom try Balik Pulau market. Which has better taste? I would say it depends on individual. Cendol is more popular near to Penang Road police station.

For seafood, most Singaporeans prefer Bukit Tambun seafood restaurant. The price has increased over the year. On the hand, it may be still cheaper for Singaporean standard.

If you want a food hunting tour in Penang island and/or mainland, you may ping me.

Cititel , Sunway Georgetown or Evergreen
Which hotel Better ??

Cititel is near to George Town Heritage site, night time food court and Blue Mansion are within walking distance. For shopping, evergreen is better option than the other two. Sunday George Town is near to hawker stall and kopitiam. My guests were happy staying in Sunway George Town and said the rooms were clean and comfortable.

My suggestion is that you bring your kids to butterfly farm in Teluk Bahang. Your kids should love the butterfly and a few insects in the farm and proceed to Tropical Fruits Farm to taste various tropical fruits (season and nonseason). A few fruits are not common found in Southern Asia.

One of your morning you may want to explore George Town heritage site likes Pinang Peranakan Manson, Khoo Kongsi, Blue Manson and etc. If you are you interested in seafood, you may proceed to Balik Pulau or Bukit Tambun in mainland.

Kek Lok Si Temple and Penang Hill visit on the same day. Hope this helps.
