Coming to watch thread is like asking to be poisoned. Once start asking ' what to get for...' , gone case liao
You are still young, a piece of advise for u.(though im not as old as unker tt01)
Work hard, family and health is important, but also do live life happily. Live within one's means. But that does not stop you from dreaming![]()

Damn, that's pretty
I also wanna know
Looks a bit similar to MUT Moon

FC shld be under thg as well, iirc its their house brand.
Another bro recommended this watch earlier in the thread, and you are in luck because I happen to know hour glass taka has a piece of both the s/steel white and dark blue dial. All hour glass carry this brand.
Yup, that's a nice shade of dark navy blue not black. Have seen it in the flesh and it's very very sexy. Retails for about $5150. Discount depends, but ranges around 20-25% which works out to about $3860-$4150
Have you seen the white?

Very good value for the dollar, considering you get one of the most useless but very pretty complication, the moonphase.
Damn, I might go hoot one now.![]()
Oh so die die only can go HG see? abit intimidating leh H.G lol and they only have one outlet right?
Yep I remember it to be in my list before I did a drastic cut to 4 to 5 models. The navy speaks to me more than the white though. Can anyone share a bit more about this brand ?

Indeed a very attractive watch, with even an in-house movement. Value for money indeed.Another bro recommended this watch earlier in the thread, and you are in luck because I happen to know hour glass taka has a piece of both the s/steel white and dark blue dial. All hour glass carry this brand.

Why the manufacturers' pictures are never as nice as the ones other people take themselves? =.=
THG has many outlets.
Singapore | The Hour Glass
Very young brand, no hundreds of years in history. Same age as your hubby in fact.

Only problem is, it's a Patek wannabe in terms of design, and they are of course nowhere near them in terms of watch making innovation or heritage.
It's hard. Everything has been done. Offering such a nice piece at this price point is only possible when the brand lacks history. Unfortunately, much of the allure of horology is that romanticism.
A lot of people would rather buy a Seiko than a FC just for the fact that Seiko, despite most of their products being much more roughly made and finished, is a fully in house company, and has been for a long time.
