Latest Update: Dec 13, 2015

We are not hiring any more traders.
Please bump up this thread if you are seeking more info.
==============================================
We are open to new ideas again! A group of traders would soon be presenting their various fund management proposals to my firm on setting up a private fund, which we will then take a 40-70% stake once approved by my investors. Any comments, suggestions are welcome.

The first two proposals we have received are below and the new fund will, of course, require employment of more aspiring traders.
==============================================
Please send all enquires to the following email address below only.

Thank you for the attention.

Hi

This is for anyone who is looking to manage fund and has a proven, fully audited, track record for at least two years.

Size is from $1 to 2 mio.

A profitable trader is self-sufficient and his own boss. Why should he/she works for you?

OPM leverage. If you're a good trader, you'll make vastly more trading other people's money and taking a 10% cut of the profits than you would trading your own money.

Yes, I would do this, but I won't work for someone to do this.

I'll start my own hedge fund and do this.

Hello, I've been trading for my dad and his friend since 2012. I am still learning and improving my skill and learn along the way. Maybe we could be friend and exchange knowledge with each other?

How abt allocating me 100k to start with, get it on IB, and not sure if u can link or upgrade my current acct type to get access to your funds :)

You can always liquidate all positions and take it back anytime. I dont have a proper track record since my portfolio of strategies only lasts 6-12 months each.

I can send u my IB NAV summary for 1 year, which is not very impressive lol.

think there is a misunderstanding. indeed, you would be starting your own fund, with the cash from outside and you can name the fund whatever you like and its under your name. note the fund would be completely run by the trader, the investor is not the employer, in the usual sense of the word. there is no office you have to go to work -- you can work remotely if you wish.

You are very generous, but I cannot take up your offer now because I've my other shareholders to answer to.

Maybe near the end of the year, we can talk again.

There are incentives for those so-so traders to apply for this job.

A profitable trader is unlikely to work for others.

So many satki traders and wierd ppl here, but too bad fund management has got nothing do with trading.

OK, then $1mio's not nearly enough to do this as a full hedge-fundy sort of setup. The startup costs for a hedge fund run well into the tens of thousands of dollars (plus your requirement for a performance audit is going to cost a few thousand dollars right there); two-and-twenty on $1mio isn't even going to keep the lights on and the Bloomberg ticking over.

It's not worth the money to do a full hedge-fund setup to manage $1-2mio SGD; this is what Interactive Brokers' advisory function is designed for.
