So...Mid March, still no calls with regards to installation for 1Gbps...

Are there any senior system engineer from MR I could speak to or PM with? I am facing a serious dilemma.

My current situation:
- currently signed with another SP so my ONT is linked and working via that SP

My question:
- got a call from MR call centre to arrange for installation by OpenNet and MR.
- very surprised to hear that OpenNet needs to lay another cable to my ONT, I thought once OpenNet lay the fibre cable once, it can be used up to 2 ONT points with that cable. Was not aware that the cable only belongs to my current SP and MR need to lay a separate cable to my ONT.

My dilemma:
- from the door to my ONT located in my room, the wiring are fully hidden behind false ceiling all the way to my room. The ONT is located INSIDE a cardboard. In short, everything is hidden. And to lay another line is gonna require some serious ugly bracketing and cutting up my cardboard to get to the ONT.

So I would appreciate a senior engineer who is very familiar with how ONT/OpenNet works to PM/call me and discuss how to resolve my problem

thanks for the info. I have verified with Nivlek OpenNet guys will only be activating my port, no need to lay cable again. Heng ahhhhh!!!

From my experience, don't trust their CSO, get an official staff on the forum to help you out.

The CSO I have spoken to, only 1 was well inform about what is going on, the rest of them know nothing.

I'm on beta and going to get the Fiber Take Over on 26th..so my servers are down for 6-12 hours....

in the mean time...I just nick my next door neighbour connection
