The ROO's pretty nice to wear to be honest, but i guess it's really not for everyone. In fact, while i've got my first dress watch from ALS, i still find myself excited to wear the AP out for formal occasions as well.

The strap's an original hornback from AP. I bought it direct from the service centre when they first had it for the 44mms:)

Thanks bro and congrats on your ALS....:D

Just got back and did a family photo of my little collection. Nothing compared to iceflight boss's collection of course, but i'm a happy man. Special thanks to him of course for the very kind gesture.

I'll take more wrist shots and close ups of the ALS time zone this weekend when I get around to wearing it.

But all I can say is it has me really lusting for more to acquire.

Congrats on your acquisition of such a fine piece, I did little to deserve such thanks...

Seeing your collection. it's short of a Patek :s13::D:D :D

This watch thingy is dangerous realise here buy a bit and there suddenly added up to a Porsche 911, but..... now quite miffed by a certain Patek piece. Hoping the SA forgets to call me when it arrives

Cool. Solely by value of "watch collection declared" ranking here, u r 2nd only to iceflight.

You seemed to have been out of service in the forum for a while....

Haha one Orient Bambino, 2 G shocks, One Stowa Flieger Baumauster b on the way- should reach me by this month end.

Only very recently into watches, interest sparked off while looking for a watch for husband to be as a wedding gift in October. (In fact I joined the forum because I needed help in my purchase decision) Unlike all the big brothers here, xiao mei here don't have that much dispensable income for the ultra luxury so what I have now are mostly more of the 'value for money' watches. :s13: They also happen to be men's models because I generally don't like watches that are too small faced.

Nice collection! And I clearly need caffeine. I read the the part in bold as your "interest sparked off while looking for a husband" :o

Thanks! Is AK at people's park complex? Their price reasonable right?

Not related to them but will recommend AK and Koh Watches too. Very friendly, honest and knowledgeable. Their pricing is very competitive, especially if you're paying by cash.

Haha..! "interest sparked off while looking for a husband" - must research which is most expensive right den go fish for guys wearing those is it? Most girls out there see rolex as a big thing I suppose? Little do they know it's not even the most expensive and exclusive.

My guy just a regular seiko guy when he proposed. But I'm lucky enough to have him. Hopefully I can stand by him to see him work his way up to enjoy the finer pieces.

Coffee person? I have yet to have mine too, just settled down in office and made myself a cup of expresso long. Really need the energy boost.. :s13:

My wrist is small, ~6.3". I checked the new SD online, 40mm, but thickness dunno how thick. None of the dealers know, therefore I tired the DSSD...seem fine..decided to hoot!

The guesstimates out there is slightly thinner than dssd. ;)

Yattokame is trying to ask you whether your bf also got his sex or not after your bf gave u the watch. Becos when he gave his wife damn expensive gifts like super branded red handbags & watches, he will make his wifey v v satisfied and thus in turn also satisfied him.

Ooooohhh. Hahaha! No lah, doesn't work that way for me. :s13::

If I do function that way, he's gotten need more than a bambino =:p
