I'm looking for a decent headphone to use mainly for listening to songs on my nokia 1020 phone as well as gaming(pc,psvita,3DS) any recommendation that is easy on the budget yet of decent quality?

Hi! For gaming headphones, you can consider those which are popular in <$100 range like the Logitech G230 and Razer Electra. Maybe you can visit either of our two stores to audition the demos first.

1) The AT-HDC1 comes equipped with the IEM.

2) We have yet to test the cable in our store as the stock hasn't arrived at the moment but according to the information from Audio Technica, the more expensive AT-HDC5 @$98 has better conductor for better signal transmission and other construction improvement over the AT-HDC1 @ $38.

3) Unlike the MMCX connectors, the 2 pinned connectors Audio Technica IM series uses doesn't rotate. In fact it has a snap lock design to prevent the cable from loosening, however like most detachable cable connector....repeated remove and installing the cable a lot of times might potentially loosen the connectors.

4) in my opinion the IM series cables are quite resilient, even if the cable tangles it's easy to untangle, using the right method to store the IEM in a suitable case or pouch will also greatly reduce the chances of the cables tangling.

The Ath-M50 can isolate well. Would recommend using comply foam tips(1pair in package) for better comfort and seal though.

Any earphones to recommend to replace my TDK BA200? Really loved the sound of these.. But recently, one side of the earphones became softer than the other.. Or is it more worthwhile to get it repaired?

Hi Diluted! Why not you try others first and if really nothing can suit to your preference, then maybe that's the time you can consider repairing your BA200? Because I wonder about the cost you need to spend especially if not under warranty already.. Maybe you can try Westone UM Pro 10 and the Shure SE215 SPE. I find that the latter has fuller bass and both has detachable cables, when something goes wrong with the cable, you can just find a replacement.

Currently I have ath-m50 and I bought it a few years ago . Now the top of the head band is peeling off which is quite sad . Anyways I'm finding that the sound it's giving me can't satisfy me anymore
Any decent upgrades from the m50 ?

If you still want to save your M50, maybe you can check with the service centre if they can do something about it, you can reach them thru 6749 5686 .

As for a new set, something more balanced will be the AKG K550 or if you want something that has fuller bass, warmer in sound, you can take a look at Sennheiser Momentum. Both are comfortable to use as well.

Hi, for sports specific wireless earphones, those we have are above $100. If you just need standard wireless earphones, the Jabra Play and Jabra Clipper are quite good under $100.

Thanks for the recommendation TeamStereo! How is the LTE different from the regular ones for Shure 215? I've tried the regular ones awhile back, but I feel it lacks that sparkle you find on the BA200..

The regular ones before has stronger bass compared to the SPE version. I find the bass more boomy while the SPE is more controlled. The mids are more transparent for the SPE I can say and sounds more balanced. Maybe you can try the demo for it then you can have a comparison with your BA200.

Thanks for the appreciation as well! For customs earphones within that price range, why not check out the Unique Melody Merlin and Miracle? Something with warmer sound and fuller bass is the former but I find the Miracle more detailed, clear mids with good bass and more airy. Both of our stores has audition sets, maybe you can visit us then compare these two models.
