Fantastic result at Southampton . We win our next 2 home games and 4th is secured. No need to risk key players for the final day skirmish with Norwich.

Lallana is not bad but my gut feeling is after the world cup he want to be part of pool. I am impress by Southampton fullbacks . Coleman so rampant recently was kept quiet by Shaw.

Yeah good for us.
At first I though good for Diaby that he will probably play in our last league game, probably his last ever game for us.
But then most likely he will not recover in time from his minor injury setback for that anyway.

Might as well let people like Zelalem and Eilsfeld play instead.

Class of 92 not considered? Hmmmm, maybe arsenal academy got to work harder or else none to remember.

well... tat's very true. for all the matter abt we producing fantastic youth who go on and become good players, none tat came thru the rank actually made it at arsenal until recently. arsene alwys buy young players directly overseas then put them into 1st team. thou things have changed these past few years, it will take time before we see if those bought from barca or elsewhere is good enough to step into 1st eleven.

balotelli anyone ? he seems to be on his way out of milan

ya.. saw on arsenalfantv tat robbie list him as one of the 5 WC players we shld get. i have my doubts abt him thou. he may have the talent but his temperament is risky. his time at man c didn't prove he's gd enough. getting more cards then rave reviews. if he comes cheap, abt 10mil then find. but if he's gonna cost 20+ then i don't think we shld look at him. the other listed strikers are martinez, cavani, manzukic, and costa (of cos). of all these, i think most possible is manzukic but why wld we need another Giroud-like player? Giroud has 20 goals this season, on par with him. no pt spending money and get another. Martinez has yet to prove himself at european and international level to be counted as WC. Cavani will be too ex and Costa shld be on his way to chel$ea.

imho, i think we shld try get 'little pea' chicharito hernandez instead. he's a proven PL winning goal scorer, quick and agile, a poacher (we missed this kinda player) and might be on his way out of Man U. shldn't cost more than 15mil i guess. do note we need to get a couple of defenders and a true CDM also. plus, if we're going for draxler.

latest outburst at seedorf when subbed and lost temper at italian pundits on tv..

wonder if Wenger is able to tame him or anyone else for that matter

Never buy a rebellious player. They upset the rhythm of the whole team.
Even though Suarez had problems, but he was never rebellious in the team.

Yeah saw it too, actually there is a rumour that puma may help fund the move for balotelli to our team because of the new sponsorship deal... which might mean we pay at least less than 20mill for him. Still not sure if that's the best move for both parties though.

I would agree with all of Robbie's top picks... but i'd rank them a little differently. For me, the top pick would go to Cavani as first spot undisputedly; the closest mould to suarez/aguero type that would so perfectly fit into our system and complement giroud, has pace, power, dribbling and flair one whole complete package. If he is open to moving here, we should really just pay up the money to PSG as long as it's ~55M and below (if we can offer 40mill to suarez when he is actually worth a lot more, then this is really not too ridiculous of a price at all) .

Next would be a tie amongst balotelli/costa/martinez. However, would be more inclined towards martinez still. The other 2 are temperamental , and while you can't argue they are talented individuals at their own end ... their unpredictability may upset the balance and chemistry of the team. Therefore i would go with the less riskier pick of martinez who is equally a natural goalscorer and even a boyhood fan of our club plus willing to make the move here if we actually bidded for him.

Mandzukic offers the same as giroud although he is a great player. What we really lack is the alternative option B to help bail us out of games where our usual tactics are not working or players involved in the setup and buildup are out/rest/injured.

Chicharito pls

While he is also a good addition, i just can't see this ever happening. This is like a more mild case of fabregas to utd; which will never happen simply because of loyalty. If he ever does leave utd, it will be to another league for sure. He has so much respect and loyalty to utd , he's spoken about it so many times. Why would he trade that by joining a rival premier league team and anger the fans just to earn more playing time? He won't possibly do it over money unlike that silly cashlebayor.

So now Sagna shooting pattern wanting to leave again after what appeared to be near agreement for a new deal ?

Just get Coleman lah.

He already trying hard to help us and impressed Arsenal fans.

Although must say he was not at fault at all for the 2nd own goal last night. The other guy (was it Barkley ?) headed the ball onto his head which rebounded into the net.:s13:

To be fair , our season is derailed by a host of random injuries like every other year. Ramsey and Walcott if fit can bring us over the line. The first half of the season has been great.

Wenger failure to strengthen in Jan is proving to be our downfall this season, however honestly speaking there isn't really many World class players available during that period.
Mata is available but Chelsea will never sell to us in Jan, Johan cabaye won't be a good fit and salah is wasting money

I say give AW a two year extension nothing longer

I find decision like signing kallstrom when he was still injured till available in march, basically another wrong decision. Already had many injuries and loaned another injured player? Can't even do a proper medical on this injured player.

I can't believe that we are still believing injuries are part of bad luck in arsenal. Things do happen for a valid reason.
