VAT refund is based on where you purchased the item from and not the country you refunded at. should still be able to do the refund at italy.

if the country in not part of eurozone then you have to do the refund in the country itself if not cannot refund outside at all. i.e Switzerland

I was wondering about this too when the THG sales told me that 17 jewels will be good enough for watches :s11: So I went home and do a little search and here's what I stumbled upon...:D

Great! Means i will still get e 23% refund even though refund is done at italy.

Ya i did put up the roboto to sell here but no interest leh. Ended up selling on sgroc and got sold within the week.
