Plasmacluster is don't know what positive and negative ions (both, not only -ve)....not sure if it's effective also. But well, just anotehr feature if one believes in it. Main +ve i see is against viruses, though HEPA can also easily filter the medium (microdroplets floating in the air after sneezing) with the viruses.

Viruses, as in 1 virus by 1 virus themselves solely, do not float in the air. they need a medium.

Unfortunately no.... The Novita NAP101 is decent only as it's a manual blower. Local warranty-check. Filter - check (buy at Courts and Harvey Norman).

Technically, NAP501 + 1x filter fit into your budget coz after factoring out 1x replacement filter price, it's <200 $299 RRP. $265 @ GAB last week.
Should be a worthwhile upgrade over NAP101.
