comparing modded vs stock:

modded is interesting, but i think seiko did a fantastic job with the original. when the snzh runs out i hope they will do a run in the sbdc or sumo series.

The modded has a more contemporary look while the stock one looks alittle ah pek-ish. 😁

IF IF IF I recall correctly, it cost like 3.8/3.6k after discount...

but really take it as a pinch of salt, I could have mistaken the price with another watch. But definitely around 4k mark or cheaper cause I got aim this piece before and my budget is 4k and below :s13:

The blue one is quite faps also wor

edit:

blue one

4k is the price for the SS model. The gold version will be much more ex.

4k for a classy moon phase watch, in-house movement (blued screws) and croc strap is fair deal.

A second-hand will make it perfect for me personally. But some ppl like it cleaner like this.

I've never really been that into watches; my "collection" consists of a PP 6000G Calatrava(would have gone with a simpler look if I had knew better back then), a Bvlgari Diagono Chronograph(I blame it on the first Iron Man movie) and a pair of Timex Weekenders worn as the the namesake suggests.

Lurking on this thread over the past few weeks has really poisoned my mind ! I ordered a Bambino recently(Black/RG), and was contemplating ordering one more (White/TG) when I realised that I could use a cheap diver; so I got a Seiko SKX007.

The thread was moving so quickly that people must have missed my question on where we can obtain replacement springbars for Seiko watches as I misplaced mine when I was adjusting the clasp; but I figured that K2 must have had them so I went over yesterday, and the rest was history.

While helping me to resize my bracelet, Mr Goh mentioned that there was a ladies' version of the SKX007; thought it would be cool to have a "couple" watch so I bought it.

Two HWZ-ers(I'm pretty sure) came by soon just as I was leaving, to take a look at the SNZH57 and 53. I let my curiosity get the better of me, took a look at the '53, and ..

Never know how to appreciate vintages. Prefers my watches new!

Vintage can offer great value.

Unlike new you don't just walk into a boutique, swipe your card and go. So good thrill if you find a piece you like or have been searching for.

It's the SKX013 I believe; a quick google search suggests that it's just a sized-down version of the 007, so maybe not an outright "ladies version" as Mr Goh put it, but it'll be good enough for my wife's wrist(one can hope) :s13:
