I realised that the battery life quite bad and the phone gets very hot even when browsing Facebook or Instagram.

Anyone else has this problem or did I get a faulty set?

just curious - what sort of battery percentage do you guys get at the end of a day with moderate use? i.e., once in a while check fb, emails, etc.

also, is there anyway to turn off the little vibration when a call is connected/disconnected? I've already turned off the vibration in 'settings', and other haptic feedback doesn't surface.

Thus far though, after 3 days using the phone i'd say it's a pretty decent phone for it's price. The glass screen scratches very easily however!

edit: on a side note does anyone have any suggestions for a calendar app with a widget that will allow scrolling / tapping on the individual dates to see the happenings on the day? This is something I found v useful from my samsung.

It gets pretty warm when i am playing some games. If i remembered correctly, its not a gorilla corning glass. Needs screen protector for sure.

the stock calender widget can do that. Am using it with Nova Launcher, which allows you to re-size the widget.

This phone got no LTE right? Then when using internet outdoor, how the loading speed?

LTE is technically and speed tested proven faster n better but don't forget we are using MOBILE... reception plays the most impt part.

Overall, is this a good phone? Using note 2 right now. Change to mi3, is it a downgrade or upgrade.?

In moving from the Note2 to the Mi3, you get a much faster processor, a higher resolution screen and a camera with more megapixels. But you lose 4G (LTE), microSD card expansion and screen size. Is it an upgrade or downgrade ? You know your needs best and are best placed to answer that question ;).

Of course if money is not an issue, any of the current flagships (Xperia Z2, HTC One M8, Galaxy S5 and the upcoming LG G3) would likely be better choices but unfortunately they come at hefty premiums which might not make financial sense for many.

I tight budget plus note 2 spoiling so far for me its a good upgrade. I only used 6gb so far so micro sd isnt a problem. Only thing i miss is home buttons and removable batt. Batt life on the mi3 seems poorer too

Normal I tink, daily abt 20 min of calls, whatapps, Google, surfing in da lift, and maybe 15 mins video streaming... same on data only and no gps.

It might at first glance be a upgrade to mi3, but after using mi3 and compare to moi experience with older samsucks I'm not so sure now. User experience counts moar than hardware.

Haha, still notch obvious enough meh? :s13:

Ok seriously, personally moi take ish other than da cheap price, other non-tangibles rike smoothness/ease of handling, appearance, built quality and overall feel all lose out to other major brands. :(:(:(
