Thanks. Then I wonder why the 5 GHz band only shows up on my phone...

Anyone facing any problems with 7002 router? If so, feel free to feedback.
Just to clarify that I am a Singtel technician. Just hoping to help out some HWZ folks. This is entirely my own capacity and has nothing to do with Singtel. It just happens that I know the folks in charge of router dept so I could try to replicate the issues in test lab and highlight to them.
I am also using 7002 at home. I believe it will benefit all of us.
hi all,
can i check if i can throw away this default router from singtel and plug an Asus N66U on it ?
do i need to change any config / settings or just Plug and Play ?
This default router looks so ugly and the wifi signal is damn weak for my sister's 2 storey hse.
Thanks in advance.
Don throw away this router away, you may need it if your fibre encounter problem and singtel tech will only assist in resolving if you switch back to this router. so just keep it just in case.
As for the 2 storey house or HDB, better get AC66/AC68 instead, yes even though it is a bit more exp than N66.. it will worth every penny spent. AC will allow you to get much better wifi network coverage as compared to N router. and once AC become mainstream and the standard.. N router will start to phrase out, just like the G wifi router now.

woo, thanks for your info !
lucky i never tell my sis to dump it immediately![]()

Heng for you.. It is always wise to keep it just in case.super frustrated. i tried port forwarding port 2000 on Aztech DSL7002GRV-(s) for one of my ftp server. it doesn't work. called singtel. singtel ask me call aztech. aztech never picks up. has anybody been successful? is there any required step other than Firewall Configuration -> Port Forwarding? interface set to eth0.
Got 200mbps singnet yesterday. My wireless speed only 40mbps, wired is 200mbps. Modem is aztech 7000 not 7002. May I know is the 7000 so crappy as my wireless is only 40mbps. Any settings I can tweak? I used my note 3 to test.Thanks.
Only realised my model is the 7000 and not 7002. Seems like it is the single band of the aztech 7000. But then single band so cui meh?
