well my roxannes sound awesome with the tip i found. yours probably won't unless you're very lucky. you heard all this bad stuff about roxannes and highs and nonsense and you brought them any way because jh makes good product and people get in line begging him to sh*t on them hoping they'll get lucky.

Personally, I tried before digisound and the hearing centre. I have better result with the hearing centre.

since universals are all exactly same i think they would be more likely to have the sound JH "intended" whatever that means. customs are each different and sound different and JH can't even test them because he can't listen to them.

no mine sound 10-20% better than the stock. sometimes i'll go back to stock to check again to confirm.

everything. sounds like lcd3. biggest improvement is bass which is very tight and controlled like flagship TOTL headphone but not overpowering. spatials amazing doesnt sound like iem at all. i use comply p series slim, with the top 4-5mm cut off and the roxanne inserted deep into my ear. every time i switch to another tip it sounds crappy and i switch back.

heres pics of my tips.

it's the slim versino of this http://www.complyfoam.com/products/p-series/ with the top cut off. you only put on a little bit, not all the way, and then push everything deep into your ear.

sounds night and day better than my other tips. really amazing how much better it sounds this way.

looking at pic i just noticed that my ear canal seems to have bent the tip a little to better align. interesting. i think this might sound good because it provides very deep isolation without using a lot of foam. i dont know just guessing.

Stvc11, I sent my jh16 for refit with another set of good fitting tf10 reshell last time, and they redo the whole JH16 for me... Hope it helps for your case...
