Just re-contracted with SingTel on 100M Fibre (24-months contract) from ADSL:

1. $39.90/mth with 5 mths (3+2) waiver.
2. Dual band router Aztech 7002.
3. Waiver of Installation and Registration fees. Registration fee will still be charged in first bill but need to call them subsequently to get it waived.
4. Analog DEL phone subscription waiver.

I did not ask about $100 handset voucher & 10% off mobile subscription as I don't need them.

Retention Dept not working on Sun. Just call 1688 , select Fibre via the voice response system and speak to General Enquiry team. Just tell them what is being offered to other via subscribers as listed in Internet forums. They can match up. You need to be patient. Concluded the re-contract after 40mins with them.

Note: According to 1688, 100M Fibre plan only came out on Fri, for PC Show. Therefore, if you called earlier, Retention Dept will only offer 200M as the entry Fibre plan.

100M Thursday just out for the show and after the show will disappear la.

Not so sure on this but a SingTel CSO said to me that actually i can recontract anytime during the recontract month and one more year, it would be my 21 month. Btw, I'm on mioHome so not sure whether this recontract benefit applies to all.

Just called 1688 this morning. After a brief chat with the CSO, was forwarded to retention dept. Was offered the same as above.

100mbps Fibre works out to be $31.50 monthly (5 mths waiver)+home line
15mbps ADSL works out to be $26.20 monthly (3 mths waiver)+home line

I don't really need 100mbps as I use internet for only a few hours a day. It seems 15mbps is enough for me. Hope this is the right decision. :s8:

If cost is the over-riding factor and ur needs are basic....don't see why it's the wrong decision. Btw, for the ADSL promo, is the analogue phe line subscription free too?

The phoneline they are giving $10 rebate per month. So effectively, it's free subscription.

Just to add, the $10/mth rebate is only for 12 mth. They say can call them again to extent the rebate after 12 month.
