Honestly, I think the sole reason that I managed to get C+ was due to my
ICA component (33.4%).

Which implies that my exam only managed in the low 40s... (which actually I consider tat as failure )

Therefore, a word of advice would be to try doing better for your ICA as it would be within your control, unlike exams, you haf to factor in unprepared questions, writing speed and condition of yourself in the actual day of exam.

On a side note, I noticed even though yst was the release of results, only our thread was very active...

I wonder why...

Could it be tat other UNISIM threads ppl quitted half-way or couldn't be bothered?

True that. Later batches are really quite quiet.

Most of my classmates are within B range. Some of them didnt have very good scores for their assignments, however they have done well for the exams as we discussed some of our queries in the whatsapp group. To do well in your assignments, avoid last minute rush and prepare your analysis early.

For myself, I lost a chunk of marks in question 1a as I was too carried away with part b, thus forgetting to copy in one chunk of my internal analysis. While preparing for exams, try to think of the questions that would be possibly related and work on the analysis.

I still balance 4 modules including 488, machiam marathon but will endure and crawl to the finishing line.

To me,is easier to do well for yr assignments than exams as i haf mentioned earlier.

Really had a 60-40 chance of buanging the exams as i failed to prepare for 2 of the questions (think 3 & 4) of the exam tat held like 45 marks?

Juz glad to clear it,though might haf done better if other "typical" type questions as per past yr papers had came out

True. In my opinion this module should be 6 classes of F2F.

This is the toughest that I had encountered so far, very happy to clear it in my 1st attempt.

Appeal doesnt work most of the time.

Unless you are very sure that the marking has gone wrong and your answers can't go wrong, you should appeal.

Yes i need to repeat my whole module for ECO201. I cant believe I can pass FIN303 on 1st try but still fail my ECO201 on 2 tries. I didnt know ECO201 will cause me to pay more money

I repeated as well. Done gba twice and resit twice even.

it reached the point when the money didnt matter anymore lo, just want to pass this and move on.

my lecturer pass us a set of sample questions to practice and it really help to bridge the understanding requirements.

however, little did i know is the finance modules that are the killers
