is wired connection or wifi better for the mibox? my router offers 5g but some cctv channels lag damn bad on wifi. but the spec for the wired connection is only 10/100mbps.

Can 3rd generation link with any TV including crt type? If jailbreak is confirmed or not can watch other channels? If I got miotv box now can use xiaomi together?
So I read just now no need to pay extra to change menu to English can just diy by installing something?
The thing to connect phone to TV is not required right? My phone no space le also.

i think u need to purchase the RCA cable if u want to connect to a CRT tv.
and, jailbreak isnt necessary, u'll be able to install 3rd party apps just fine.

english menu is just the main OS translated to english.
the android core u can change to english easily.

u want english menu just install a launcher that supports english. eg. tuzi launcher.

miotv and xiaomi are 2 totally unrelated thing.

and my tv already connecting to miotv, so can still connect to xiaomi tvbox or need to remove miotv? rca cable can just buy from selfix shop right? or say actually usually miotv there already got 1 also?

Your tv sure got extra hdmi port mah. Your miotv is just like mibox. Just that miotv os is different from mibox and u pay for miotv channels where else it's free for mibox (most of it).

U can get it from xiaomi direct at their tmall flagship store every Tuesday and get forwarder to ship bacl the items mah.

So RCA cable and hdmi port can link? I only know hdmi cable. I don't know all these tech stuffs. I read rca is analog? Hdmi is digital? So to check simply just to confirm can Connect to crt tv type before I purchase and what else I need buy for setup.. haha

You can google XMBC and add repos like Mashup and NaviX.. All of them got support live Tv and Chinese channels. (FREE)

But look like most of you got it from the above seller though. My friend was contemplating on 2nd Gen sold at carousell then I showed him here he want get x-something something one. I thinking if really get from this seller basic will do if those additionals can get it from market ourselves?
