I'm not the most knowledgeable, but my wife is the queen of miles accumulation.

She forces me to use Citi Premiere as much as possible. I guess that's what her research has led to.

not really spoilt... just consumer retention.
once a consumer is used to a product or service. They tend to keep using it, especially when they keep getting good service level, because they don't see a need to change unless it really suck.
