MR is using dynamic PRIVATE IP by default which does not support port forwarding whereas SH is using public IP.

tried latest merlin
tried merlin 4422

- same problem
- last check direct ONT - speeds are normal

it used to work fine until recently though :/

If it used to work fine until recently its enough evidence to point towards a hardware failure of the router. Direct to ONT works fine puts the nail in the coffin.

1. Did you save the SSID on your devices?

2. Are you using Frequency 2.4GHz or 5GHz?

Unbelievable!! The power button failure issue has gotten to me!!
So damn funny!! I had thought the network was down... But my devices cannot see any network
Walked up to the router press the power button, tada! The router lights up! (I have my router in stealth mode)

Anyone is suffering from very slow speeds when uploading to cloud sites like box.com?

Used to be very fast at 4000-5000kbps.. now it's struggling at 200kbps or less

Also speed to china sites is inconsistent. When downloading from baidu pan, the speed increases to about 15-20Mbps at the beginning at will suddenly drop to 50-100k when approaching the middle of the download for a while then increase slowly again..

FYI.

If your concern is the long waiting time for OpenNet to activate the Port 2 of TP, some customers mentioned that they waited 4 to 6 months. Not sure about Fibre Takeover.
