i admit i do read up on reps, on how close they can manage to do replicate something. very interesting to me.

but no matter what, nothing beats the real deal. it maybe super high price but the feeling wearing it, its just different.

i used to own a marina militare sub pam, wear already, don't feel as satki as i know it's still a copy/homage. But now i wear my 005, wear also satki. walk also got wind. can suka suka walk into AD like a boss (even though i don't buy anything, go grey!) hahahahaha

Just today i walked pass sincere, they put their watches on display.

When i look at those watch at display, Saw RM then in my head goes IceFlight owns one of these
Now walk pass shops that sell watch will stop and look at those watches on display and relate to myself who owns that particular watch

Just in-case, frankenwatches isn't a forum that i point him to (i did not list any forums out btw). it's term for people to mod their watches. It has been discussed in WUS forums too.

btw i feel there's nothing wrong to safeguard and protect myself by having the knowledge of reps out there.
I mean sharing the knowledge of replicas can be good to this thread, it's useful information to learn how to differentiate between the real deal and the knock off.

me too! tell my friends proudly, i know a dai kor in hwz wearing these satki watches. haha at first they say very zai meh till they see the price tag behind the watches, they go

There has been relatively a lot of focus on these replica items.

Many of us are missing the point of the genuine watch collectors. ‎It is just a matter of decorum on the forum, not an issue of egos.*

‎Anyone who is comfortable wearing/buying a replica - great. No judgement on the person whatsoever.*

At the same time, maybe the moderators do not feel a sense to be draconian about forum rules and neither have forum contributors insisted on starting another thread specific to replicas.*

‎Our plea (mine at least, I do not speak on behalf of anyone) is to kindly take the replica stuff away from this watch thread. There is so much bandwidth and space for us all to start other threads, why clutter here?*

Anyone wears a watch for different reasons. We are not here to discuss morality issues - just respecting the purpose of this thread. Discussing / showing replicas, isn't that going rather off topic? ‎
