Hi, just curious, how big is your wrist? I'm interested in getting a BB as well, but worried too small on my 6" wrist. I tried it at the shop and it looks okay but I'm not too sure. Looks just nice in yours.
Tried the leather strap BB on my 6.3" wrist. Looks quite ok, a change from my regular 44mm watches.

Well, ordered already $8200. Retail is $9800. This is the few 40mm PAMs left we can find, and for wifey thin wrists. And it's actually a top/ chronometer grade 7750 that is striped and modified by Panerai to COSC specifications. Good thing is easy to service in future, also comes with a deployant. Looks like Panerai smallest sizes in future would be 42mm. Quite hard to find now from what I gather.

Congrats! Now get the strap! :)

Personally, a smooth sweeping second hand is what draws me to mechanical watches. The smoother the better. Gronefeld one hertz brought the ticking of quartz into the realm of mechanical. Don't know what to say. Might as well put a battery in?

Suppose the same thought for this watch? I agree with you though, I thought this is a fantastic looking watch until I saw the ticking seconds...

Was looking around furniture stores with wife then saw this nice walnut shallow drawers and the top was glass so that the contents of the top drawer are seen. It had a soft cushiony floor. Perfect for watches I thought, instead of buying a watch box. This would serve for life. Then I thought actually what was the purpose of a watch box, just put watches in the drawer la. Of course I realised that we prefer to keep watches visible like eye candy. Then I googled and found this --- a watch drawer DIY. A good idea don't u think..

Guys, I ran into some trouble when changing straps...

I got a strap custom-made for my PAM392...it came with the metal tubing where u will usually slot in the spring bar...

So my hand was itchy...i took out that strap from my PAM 392 and tried it on my B&R with the same lug width. When I tried to remove it from my B&R now, i realised that my spring bar tool now cannot reach the spring bar itself as the metal tube is blocking any form of access...I have tried my best with all the small tools that I have but i can't get it removed...

Do you think watch shops like K2 can help? I am not sure if my explanation is clear but am at my wits end now. Can already spot a few scratch marks on my casing already due to my 'efforts'...

Can any kind soul give suggestions? Will be very much appreciated...thanks in advance!

Ok i will pay a visit to K2 tomorrow then...hope he can help and the Sat crowd isn't too bad...

Thank you very much!!

Juz a follow up on my problem, K2 managed to solve my problem by cutting the metal tubing and the spring bar (I sacrificed the custom made leather strap prior to this). And when I asked how much it'd cost for his help, Uncle Goh said "no need lah..."

Amazing chap. I decided to buy a simple watch strap from him - he really has a wide collection!

The main thing I wanna mention was my experience at his shop. There were a couple of chaps who were hovering at his shop, which Uncle Goh terms them as 'regulars'. I overheard their conversations with him.

Uncle Goh was saying to one of them that if he had came yesterday, there'd be something for him...and that he could not keep for long as he did not have the "holding power"...

Then there was another one who came and asked "有货吗? 有 IWC 吗?" There and then I deduced that he may have lobang for good deals once in a while...does anyone know abt this?

The 2nd chap gave me the impression of a 'vulture' than watch enthusiast. He saw my 'predicament' and asked me if I wanted to sell my troubled watch. Gave him a straight no...!

But come to think of it, Uncle Goh could have 'double-teamed' with this regular and told me that he could not solve my problem and this vulture swooped in for the kill...thank god uncle Goh had the integrity!

Kudos to him!!!
