Finally got my hands on the omega f300 seamaster in a good deal from ebay.
Comes in a good sized 41mm using the classic tuning fork electronic movement.

Was looking around furniture stores with wife then saw this nice walnut shallow drawers and the top was glass so that the contents of the top drawer are seen. It had a soft cushiony floor. Perfect for watches I thought, instead of buying a watch box. This would serve for life. Then I thought actually what was the purpose of a watch box, just put watches in the drawer la. Of course I realised that we prefer to keep watches visible like eye candy. Then I googled and found this --- a watch drawer DIY. A good idea don't u think..

Yup, its the 104! Too bad the default strap that came together was pretty flimsy. Stuck with the rubber strap for now.

Below is the one I saw that gave me the idea, best pic I can find on internet. It is the nearest chest of drawers , there is another piece to the left of it. By Jotter Goods on show at IMM. solid walnut but $1290. The top is tempered glass so the entire top drawer is on display. Drawers are shallow so perfect for watches and slide out super smooth.

Thks... yeah the medallion is nice, and the red wording as well! It's one of the better looking LE Speedies i feel.

I didn't like the look of speedies but that is one cool piece. I'm a sucker for boringly smart black/white/metal tones....all my watches so far are like that.

This is a pretty good condition vintage Omega you have there! I saw a few that were quite beat.

Looks like a super efficient way to store watches! Worth taking a serious look at it but my wife may not be too keen on it. Wish me luck!
