hi guys a question on straps

between alligator and calf straps, which one tends to be softer, and which one can tahan sweat better?

Actually there is no difference. The alligator hide (or any other hide) will be sewn onto a calf strap, as the hide will be too thin on its own.

I don't have a straight shot of the back of the strap but here's an example. You can see that the cobra hide (brown) is sewn on calf leather (black).

not much improvements to the watch and Just change the colours right?

I think only difference is in the colour.
But the blue luminova looks nice on the photo, compared to the normal glow of the green/yellow luminova

Not sure. But the blue dial does look nice.

On the Deepsea model released today commerating Cameron's expedition, all other specifications (beside the dial and green "DEEPSEA" insignia) remain the same as the existing Deepsea Sea-Dweller.
