My hp laptop can also, but the chipset design is plain shiet.

HP's most design I dislike having to completely dismantle it just to reach to heatsink area. Sometimes they'd be arseholes and also force to dismantle just to reach HDD/RAM/wifi area :s22:

Despite all that, from a typical consumer POV, recommend to get HP only if top-up for extended warranty and don't live far from Alexandra Technopark.

HP culture is either big or nothing. For staff it's like "Yeah bitch, we'll pay you real good money but we'd terminate you any day we want", and for consumer "Yeah bitch we'll fix it in 3 days no prob. What? out-of-warranty? Not our business but $300 if you want it repaired"

But do you really need to maintain a gaming laptop? I think a mix of a 1080p gaming-ready machine at home and a lightweight Ultrabook outdoors is better.

I used to need just a gaming laptop cos of my usage patterns (Mon-Fri in dorms, weekends at home); but now your setup is better cos I now stay at home at all days.

So, for now, my gaming laptop stays at home (battery having issues anyway) and my iPad serves as my ultrabook. :s12:

Good point about the tablet. But I think in a few years time, tablets may be eclipsed by refining the hybrids we have today. Will be interested to see Apple's 1st hybrid.

Yeah, already some of the hybrids we are seeing are pretty good. I just need one that works with the games I play on my iPad now :s13:
