the blinking lights didnt work despite factory resets/restarts.

but i found a solution on the "official zen 5 thread" where users installed "notification light" app by motorola.

now my group chats (whatsapp) that is set to white notification, blinks green. lol i honestly dont know what wrong with the phone.

You got set from white to green? Or its been set automatically?

Couldn't be the phone fault la. Maybe u get a "special" set when buying that time.


P.s anyway for those who cant flash streaming. The easiest step for now to stream is to download "photon" browser from appstore..

never wor. my whatsapp is set to green for group notifications and when i do have group messages,

the led just flash green.

BUT one thing i can confirm is, if i deactivate the widget "notification light" by motorola, the LED will NOT work except when charging. :|

I refunding my Asus zf6 in process and using redmi note for a day now.

Screen size I find note small since I used Zf6 before. But handling note is better. With backlight and backkey at the right is really useful.

Most impt is I don't get sensitive screen from note. I'm happy with note.

Just my 2 cent from using both.

Wow you got a redmi note! Is the phone conversation clear in the noisy environment? Do you have any line dropped while moving?

I hardly call or receive call but so far so good. I only play clash of clan but it smoother than zf6. Zf6 load very slow for coc, sometimes even hang.

The only bad thing I find on the note is the ram. Can easily left around 200mb of ram compare with zf6 500+mb. But when clear both its around 1.2gb ram.

And it just me, I dun trust Asus gorilla screen. So redmi note is good enough for me.

Zenfone6 or Redmi Note?

Purchase a Redmi Note on 5 Aug release.
Then 2 days later, I manage to get my hand on a ZF6, which I have using eversince. I like it alot. However my Redmi Note is in Sg now, and will probably receive it tomorrow or Wed. Now I am in 2 minds whether to sell Redmi Note or ZF 6. And no, I will not keep both. Any opinions?

I am looking for zenfone 6 also. I asked around many outlets of challengers and starhub(no contract), everywhere like out of stock liao. Cant find this phone anywhere. Looking especially for the red one.

I am actually quite comfortable with zf6 after using it for almost a week, but I also like the redmi note after testing out it out with my colleague's set. Will sleep on it and wait for my note arrival before deciding.

Still waiting for the confirmation email after 6 days.

Really bad service from Asus Singapore without stocks of the ZF6.

i actually dont have a problem with the battery. I can easily last for 24 hours when i'm am work actually! i use WLD and it has 2% awake most of the time.
but yah, selling it cause too big for my liking.

did u mean HGT mobile ?
currently they seem to have local (black) and export (black and white).
but like u said after 16 Aug.
no red yet.
local is 309, export is 299 - like this who will buy export for $10 difference ?

Despite the latest firmware update few days ago, still experiencing sudden "shutdown" of handphone. Pressing the power button or opening the smart cover will not wake the phone despite numerous tries. And it happen by just placing the handphone on a table!

My little investigation revealed that the handphone is not dead in the snese it could still communicate with the cell towers - calls to the handphone will not meet with handphone not available message but ringing tone. But the phone will not ring and display remained darkened. It looks like it is in infinite loop. Only after a few tries of long press of power button will the phone vibrate, then shutdown at next long press, then phone restarted in subsequent long press.

I really love the handphone. Hope this little issue will not get out of hand.

Does ANYONE else have this issue? I'm having same problem. Tried hard reset and had Service centre tested the phone but still no solution.

Anyone know if its a flipcase or hardware conflict?
