If change the antennae for both AC87U to higher gain ones e.g. +9 dB, would the speed be higher? :D

I only have 3 +9 dB antennae. Need to buy another 5.

Dear SimonLam,

Yes 4T4R PCE coming soon... We are currently trying to design the PCB same length as GTX Titan card.

Trend: longer PCB card >> Winner

Best regard,
JK

Haha! Don't la! My Rig no space for long card liao. currently length okay.

And I name this the Wolverine router.... the antennae is like Wolverine's claws :D

5Ghz LED Light

Does anybody have this problem of the 5Ghz LED light constantly going off and back on again (in less than a split second)?

I tried all the factory firmwares and even with Merlin's build but still blinking :(

Is my set faulty or is it a bug? Will it affect my 5Ghz performance? Thanks.

But in the ASUS Quick Start Guide, it says "To ensure the best wireless signal, orient the four detachable antennas as shown in the drawing below:".... which is \ | | / :)

You are correct...hmm...

in AC87U manual, it actually recommends \ | | /, at angle 45, 90, 90, 45.

I going to try out to see if my link speed improve..

Edit: No difference...link speed still 1170
