I just received my Lexol nf Neatsfoot oil. Will apply on my 8140 (light tan) and post reviews later.

If the commando sole wears off, how ah? where in Singapore can I do the resole?

As in my previous post...........................:s12:

But for the sole to wear off need to wait long long..................:s22:

Good long weekend just nice to bring the boots out for oiling and airing. :)

I briefly brush the boots to get rid of dust and any other particles, but yet to put on the Huberb's neatsfoot oil. I will post pictures of the after process to show the differences (if any) tomorrow.

I don't need yrs, u just have go thru 1-3 mths of abuse in water, mud to get there. Lol

OK, I will been wearing 15 days per month but Singapore here hard to abuse the boot unlike USA...........................:D

IMO its not about the years or trashing. Just wear it accordingly to your own lifestyle. I will strongly not recommend to "babysit" delicately as if it will break the minute you move. Sometimes I see how one frown over how it darkens or creases, I cannot help but wonder why get yourself into such troubles. Its a good pair of boots, so just wear it. If the soles ever wear out you, it can always be resole, so don't worry lor. ;)

I did a search but all don't really give a solid answer.

Looks like the "complains" got through to Red Wing US. Amazon now no longer allow overseas shipping for Red Wing.

Congrats to all who got a steal while it lasted!

They can even send your Beckman back to USA for resole if you wanted to.
