Those who duno about watches won't even take a second look at what watch you're wearing, let alone judging the brand. ultimately it boils down to u happy can liao.

i wear my BBB to work everyday and feel darn good about myself, that's what it matters. buy what u like, not what u want ppl to like.

NOPE. To the public, its thats a watch or thats a rolex. simple as that. thats the power of rolex. people who dunno about watch will still know what a rolex is.

To be honest, I don't understand this mindset...

1. If you have a genuine rolex, why be afraid that you will be mistaken for a fake. You KNOW you got a real one.
2. If you have a fake, then you shd be prepared you'll get exposed anyway.
3. Potential buyers of rolex/LV etc, if you have this mindset, I find it sad... You won't get to enjoy some of the finest material goods out there

I'm not a rolex fan, but if I'm one... Wear it with confidence, you know you've earned it.

These people buy luxury goods to impress other people not themselves.

Unfortunately the way the carry themselves so badly in normal days make people think they wear fake even though it may be the real deal. Sad guys.

btw bros who have multiple automatics, is it a must to get a watch winder?
i assume most of your watches probably wont get much wrist time if u have too many to rotate.

any member here can please help to advise if they know of any good discounts for rolex watch? my friend is thinking of getting this and was quoted about $30k

Rolex

would it look funny for girls to wear this?

Wife wearing this, and she loves it. Tried on myself and have to say it looks nicer on a lady. And your friend should ask for a better price than 30K.

To the old birds over here, I need some advice and opinions here. Really almost about to take the plunge to my first luxury watch.

I am very much stucked between two choices - rolex submariner and pam312. Personally the Pam appeals to me more. But rolex is like a Chanel. U get Gucci, LV and etc. Ultimately u just need to own a Chanel.

When I talk to people whom don't know much abt watch, theyalways tot that rolex > Pam and Pam belongs to that 5-6k range. It sucks to spend 10k on something whh people tot its 5k. Haha.

Anyone been thought the same situation as I do currently that can share your opinions?

As they call it, this is truly a first world problem. It's tormenting.
Just buy what appeals to u more. Most people around me have no idea what watch I am wearing nor do they care anyway. It's your money and it should be spent on something u really like.
