I read online there are two or three variants of this model.
One of which is only 8gb internal and running on a lower clocked quad-core cpu of 1.2 ghz while a more powerful variant runs on 16gb internal memory and packs a quad-core 1.5 ghz cpu. There is also another version which supports dual sim and non LTE.

Wonder which variant we would be getting here.

I don't even see it in Samsung outlet. No news also, don't think we will be getting it afterall.

I am looking at this phone basically of it's 6" screen. So far, that's the largest I will go with for a mobile phone. Note 4 is close at 5.7" but it's still 0.3" smaller

my experience with the Beam 2 is specifications on website can vary widely...

friend wants this as he likes his Mega 6.3" but if 8GB only...

have recommended him to take a look at Nexus 6

I heard the malaysian version only 8gb with lower clocked cpu that's why I wonder if local market will samsung singapore bring this watered down version to us as well.

$1199 ringgit.

still using the mega6.3 and very satisfy with it. was hoping the new mega can maintain at least the same size and just pump up the ram slightly to 2GB. don't really care much about the SoC since it's only a mid range phone.

at 6", i will be comparing its performance and price point with asus zf6.

That's close to $500 sgd, man that's pretty steep considering it's a malaysian set. I could get a more powerful phone like the Sony Z ultra with bigger screen and better cpu/ram for that amt.

I'm not the user. Prefer Note 4 or Bb passport.

User upgrading from Mega 6.3 so hope he likes it.

I knid of like the Sony Z Ultra but too bad it's too big at 6.4". Prefer something along 5.7 to 6". In other words, Samsung Note 4 or Mega 2.

The other factor why Samsung Mega 2 is because of LTE support over zf6 in my case.
