You should at the very least try try to understand how speedtest on speedtest websites are done. If you like to use them for testing, I can tell you that the higher the plan you subscribed from whatever ISP, the more frustrated you will become. Then you end up hopping from one ISP to another, all because you fail to undestand the basics.

What basic are you referring?

The basics of how those speedtest websites do their speed test. How accurate/reliable are they? What are the drawback that users are not aware? Are their tests consistent from one point in time to another point in time. If not consistent, why?

There are other better ways to check your subscribed plan. Download multiple files all at the same time up to the max number of files/threads possible (this required your settings, too complicated and if you do not understand don't ask me how) and add up all the concurrent individual speeds.

Why do you need to set the router to bridge mode then? Just directly replace it with your AC68U.

That's because I want my phone in the living room while the AC68U is directly connected to the ONT in the backyard. Since the 7002 is already in the living room, I thought why not use it as a wireless access point too?

Do not know why but my family told me that they notice that even for wired connection the 7002 is slower than 7003. My thinking is since it is wired there should be no different between the two routers.

Hi,
Singtel has stated very clearly in their website that for this 7002 the max is 110Mbps and for 7003 the max is 250Mbps if you have a AC adaptor. 7002 is only N standard and do not forget that you are using a mobile phone which has less resources than a computer. Mobile phone system is not actually the same as how computer system works so can not expect a phone to be as fast as a full computer.

super frustrated. i tried port forwarding port 2000 on Aztech DSL7002GRV-(s) for one of my ftp server. it doesn't work. called singtel. singtel ask me call aztech. aztech never picks up. has anybody been successful? is there any required step other than Firewall Configuration -> Port Forwarding? interface set to eth0.

Have you been able to get port-forwarding to work? I've tried all possible combinations and nothing. Looks like the feature is broken. Managed to speak to a tech from Aztech. He claims they will be releasing a new firmware that might fix this issue.

S5 cannot achieve 300Mbps on 5GHz wireless regardless of what router you use.

Hi,

I was given a replacement DSL7002 unit recently. I was able to access the admin page on my previous one before it was replaced due to wifi issue. But with this new unit the UI is different and I cannot access the admin page, it said 404 not found. But if I replaced "singtel" with "Singtel" it prompt me for the username and password login page. Anyone know how to access the new admin page? Could this be due a newer firmware issue?

Software Version: 6.0.20.1.51

Have you tried the standard password like H3ll0t3ch and login as admin ?

If the password is not accessible you may have to call the helpdesk for the password.

Hey guys... I need some help here. I'm using this aztech modem currently... And it shows both 5ghz and 2.4ghz wifi connection on all my devices. My phones and tablets... However, I always seem to have password error when trying to connect to the 2.4ghz wifi on all my devices. I'm sure my password is 100% correct. Any help here? The 5ghz can connect to the same password but when I'm in e room, it is too far from the router and I can't connect the 5ghz well.

Is it a bug or my modem faulty? I tried resetting the modem and it works for 1hour or so then problem came back again. Wrong password.

Problem is only for the 2.4ghz ssid. 5ghz is totally fine.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

The router is faulty. Just need to call 1688 to request to change it to FG7003 as the router is faulty and keep getting disconnection even after you have restarted the router. This is a known issue. Every user is entitle to this FG7003. It is good and stable.

Ended up with the Aztech 7002 modem... anyway right now I am having issue with my two desktop connection. These two are using the Engenius EUB9603H and it keep on showing Unidentified network, sometime one PC can go Internet while the other cannot but after awhile both end up cannot... However my other laptop and mobile devices have not issue...

Is there any compatibility issue or must I buy new wireless adapter?

anyone got problem with their NAS which is connected to the 7002 router?
I have recently changed to a new 7002 router from an old 7002 router that gave me problem. However after this change, I am unable to use the local area network folders to access my Synology NAS. I can access it but it is extremely laggy. Only when i try using a ethernet cable from my laptop will it be ok.
I tried using my old PACE router and it work totally fine. So the problem must be with the Aztech wireless settings. If anyone got this problem and know how to solve this. I am eternally grateful
