agreed. i am thinking of buying 6 from taobao. can last me till next yr if i change sp at the rate of 1 per 2 months.

cheaper than just buying individual piece from sellers here.

Review: Spigen Steinheil Flex HD

I started out using Spigen's Ultra Crystal. After much temptations, I took the plunge and bought Spigen's Steinheil Flex HD. This film requires a wet application and needless to say, it requires more TLC than regular SP films or tempered glass. However, when applied correctly, the rewards are huge.

As advertised, the coverage of this film is full edge-to-edge. I'm happy that the curved part of my glass is now protected. The camera, speaker and home button cut out fits well. Finally, no more horse shoe. Although Steinheil Flex HD 'feel' is not as smooth as the ultra crystal, the film is less prone to finger prints and smudges. This is a common effect with all wet application sp.

Overall this film offers good all round coverage, good cut outs and finger print resistant. The drawback is the wet application and I strongly advise anyone who is trying this film to search for relevant YouTube videos before attempting to apply.

Does it have an 'orange skin' like surface? I know wet application protectors tend to have this kind of surface

How was the coverage for the spigen ultra crystal? Does it cover the full LED screen?

Also curious if there's the "orange peel effect" on the flex hd one.

Sure will have orange peel effect. This is an unavoidable outcome of polyurethane films unfortunately.

Any manufacturer claiming otherwise is just bullsh1ting.
