Just wanna confirm how the cash rebate works.

For every month, the minimum $300 is calculated as calendar month or statement period? Kinda confused by the "In each given statement period in a quarter" and then they said a quarter means a period of 3 consecutive calendar months.

And also are the transactions calculated based on transaction date or posting date?

Thanks!

hi there.
its calculated base on your statement month. u need to note for each person, their qualifying quarter is different, depending on when you apply the card.
eg. u opened your cc account in 27 mar. so your quarter will be 27mar- 26 apr, 27 apr-26 may, 27 may-26jun. if u apply other dates or month then your quarter is different. Pls call UOB to verify your correct quarter. i called several times to confirm , bcos diff CSO give me diff answer.

also, the min sum is based on posting date rather than transaction date.
eg u spend 500sgd today, but the posting day will be some days later, depending on when the merchant collect this payment.

so u need to manage your spendings well to hit the min sum correctly.

with the frank card changes in the ATU rule, i will have to take this UOB one card out from my freezer.

thumbs up!

I am using this card for almost anything. Groceries, Shopping, Dining, overseas. So far so good
Just make sure that whatever transactions you wanna make is not in the final week of the qualifying quarter. Other than that, enjoy the rebate!!!

My virgin statement does not state the qualifying quarter though...

I believe virgin statement will not have.

That's why UOB states that 1st quarter is pro-rated. It all depends on how many statements (either 2 or 3) you receive before they confirm you qualifying quarter.
