most probably you can.

previous phone launches, I had registered my interest and if I ain't wrong, there were options to indicate a current customer (recontracting) or signing up a new line (port-in included).

all three telcos will open up registration of interest at 12 later.

There's no option to show that I am signing a new line leh? SingTel ROI only asked for NRIC, phone number, and email. It says registration successful, but I wonder if it works? Maybe the ROI gets you a booking, then you can request for port-in live during the appointment?

You choose to apply new line or recontract when you book your appointment which most likely will happened sometime next week before 22nd Nov. ROI is just to get a notification to book your appointment.

oops. my bad. must have mixed up with SH's one.

anyway, once you successfully book the appointment, the set is confirmed yours. recontract or new line, I'm sure they are able to process it for you

I see, thanks a lot. I'm not so well-versed in mobile contract affairs.:D
haha no problem.

make sure you have no outstanding bills with the current telco and you are the subscriber.

last time i port over, they asked me these Qs. if not will complicate the number port process.

Tried it earlier at m1 suntec. Very hard to hold compared to note 4, not worth the gimmick la

I was wander will they come out a screen protector for this phone....

I foresee only the conventional screen protector is able to cover the flat screen, while the edge will not be covered lor..

$200 more than the Note 4 ah.. Not worth it ah. I was thinking maybe $100 more can consider, since everything is the same except the screen. $200 more for that curve is too much. :(

Not buying it. The edge will accidentally activated when holding it esp when using one hand.
on the contrary, according to samsung, the edge wont be accidentally activated.

Quote from article:

"Since the Galaxy Note Edge has the touch screen display on the side, some people might wonder if it would accidently activate other applications from the side. The designers and engineers certainly had this in mind. The touch sensor of the Edge screen can recognize the difference between finger and palm. The engineers also implemented a grip solution so that it can distinguish intentional gesture vs grip vs unintentional touch."

Pretty sad to see only flip wallet made available for this edge

Yes I know the edge screen is exposed and serve what it should (notifications etc yadayada), but s view really add an entire new dimension to how we interact with the phone when messages/calls come in. Things ain't going to change, but this might well be the stopping point for me.

Not to mention limited availability in markets = limited aftermarket accessories = lesser funding from case makers to cater to this niche market.
