I dropped my phone into a bowl of water, drowned it for arnd 2 to 5 seconds.

After drying it off i kept for 8 hrs dry, and tried to charge it and turn it on.

It got restarted until the "color" portion of the bootup, when it conk out;

Shld i get a new phone alr? :(

Price seems really good, but...

I've bought Huawei mifi's from taobao without hesitation, as they are made in China, but I'm personally skeptical of buying things from China that aren't made there (My N5, bought from Japan, says 'Made in Korea' on the back...).


If you do buy, do let us know how it goes. I guess just be prepared that there might be no warranty at all. Buying from an overseas play store would still have warranty from that country, where you could still send it back for service if you have to.

im quite skeptical about buying phones from TAOBAO too. the price seems too good too. however the reviews on the shop and product seems alright. just =/ on the warranty part.

actually for n5 at $400plus

jus look at buy/sell.. alot of deals ard same price..

Actually shd put in rice bin for 1day to absorb the moisture before attempting to power up... Now bonkers Liao...

Rice better or thirsty hippo ah?? Personally i haven used but heard ppl mentioned abt thirsty hippo

For those who have updated their N5 to Lollipo, can share what is your experience of using the new OS so far? :)

overall lollipop bring a new life to my Nexus. only thing i missed in kitkat is the gravitybox and secure settings for tasker. :(
btw, wifi seems picky on router also.

Yah, i miss my xposed modules too. I want chrome pie

Wifi is noticeably weaker on my N7. Esp the 5ghz band

first few days of Lollipop's battery life is superb but after that battery life kinda back to kit kat era liao :s22:
