Sorry, i have a few noob questions...

When haggling with tradepac, do i ask for discount for each individual item or ask for discount from the total amount quoted to me?...

How flexible is tradepac in terms of A and B pricing?am i still able to get A pricing(whole pc price) if let's say i didnt get 1 to 2 items frm them?...

Lastly, can anyone reco me a casing that looks similar to Fractal Design R4 but cost a fraction of it? if possible less than $90...
(I don need any fanciful design, just want it as "clean" as R4, don wish to see the drive bays)...

Haggling from them is up to your personal choice to ask from them for discounts for either individual or overall pricing.

They are flexible. They usually will just give you bundle pricing even you buy 1 product from them. Except mobo and cpu combo.

As for r4. The pricing from 159 cannot go til 90. If that is so the shop will close down.

The max i ever gotten from them was 129 iirc. That was when r4 was quite new and hot. Now should be cheaper.

Anyway if you are looking for r4 at a cheaper price, go to lazada.sg and use a mastercard monday and purchase it at $10% off. $139-10% ~ 125.10

After reading this thread, i have a few question

That time they use my newly purchased processor to troubleshoot someone's motherboard and claimed to help me test my motherboard for free also. I argue a little with them in the end lucky manage to receive a new unopened processor

1) Due to this, How can we check that those things that we buy over there is new, not Used

My 900D i haggle till way below srp from them lolol

2) Can share some tips to get more discount?

Easy to check if you buy a single item as compared to a whole rig.
The following items got seal:
1. CPU
2. Memory
3. SSD/HDD

Just to share with you all. It's my first time cheated in SLS after shopping there for many times.I bought a new set of PC abt 1.6k.
I asked which graphic card comes with free game bundle? They recommended MSI R9 280X 3GB cost 500+. After free assemble service I bring PC home on same day.

Few weeks later I started to install stuff then realize BF4 game is not inside box at all, i called them and they asked me to come back to shop.
They confronted me why never complain on same day? How would people know and think that game bundle is taken away from box like that

I also realize the SATA 3 cable is given one piece only though in mobo manuals it mentioned 2 pieces and all screws/spacers for mobos are not there too.

Kindly beware and check on the spot before you buy anything with TRADEPAC!

And please remember to check your wares properly before buying. They sold me a mobo with broken pin before and man handle my cpu and throwing it into my rig. Never going back to this shop even with a $100 discount

was the gpu box sealed? did u see them assemble? unless ur standing there watching them do, they will juz throw away all the boxes and leave u with only the motherboard box and the documentation.

They will also use the parts required and the remainder will keep for themselves so ur sata cable missing is normal for most shops. u hv to be there to say i want ALL the leftover parts and boxes.

The missing BF4 is not normal. Then again since ur emphasis was on "graphic card with free game bundle", one would assume the free game is the first thing u check for when u got home.
