Yes lol that's was the day I collected. It's was wrapped up. Then took a shot in a coffee shop.

Was looking at gunny strap site. It says 25 days waiting time. :/

Haha nice bro. I thought of putting either a rubber or leather strap on mine.

Sent from GAGT Android App

Good idea, but for me I prefer the steel! I tried leather on my Daytona and it looks weird, don't look like Rolex.. Haha.

Have yet to try the rubber b on my Deepsea, so don't know how it will feel.

Gonna try getting a black rubber for it. Meanwhile another shot while shopping a few days ago.

Maybe email them to discuss? Or find another strap maker? Could worth the effort and wait ;)

Wow it's been almost a year since I posted this pic.

Couldnt decide on which one back then. Was checking out the YG GMT but SA asked if I want a 5712 since price point not too far away. The brand ***** in me went for the patek.

Sold off both the daytona and daydate. Was getting bored of the daytona (no date function and quite useless chronograph function) while the missus hated the daydate. But I think I may still get a daydate later on.

Been fun on this thread. Made lots of frens. Had lotsa hotdogs. Seen lotsa hair. Tickled lotsa hands. Thanks for all the fun ya ;)

Dunno what to buy next. Or rather, what I can afford to buy next.

Actually I almost got the dssd in June. Wanted some badass looking dive watch as a sporty watch......then i gay kiang go see panerai. Tried the 24 and thought it has more wrist presence than the dssd. After muh ding dong, got the 305.

The 116718 is insane loud and beautiful to me. I wanted to get the GMT TT but I thought that it might not generate much wrist time due to the gold. A stainless steel would be better for frequent wear

But given if I can and have a choice I would pick the patek too :p I would love to have something from the patek heritage and I would wear it much more.

I'm not too keen on two tones (or rolesor) nowadays cos I feel theres way too much color and the half-gold feels wannabe (just my opinion) on sports models. On the datejust it looks ok but just not on sports models.

Well, also almost got some other divers but realized I will end up only wearing the panerai so didnt buy. Brandwhore mah.
The dssd didnt feel like its size at 44mm. Maybe becos of its thickness...? Nonetheless i like it as the toughest watch in the rolex lineup :) but unlikely to get one.
Maybe a 1978 daydate I head (18038?), white dial and roman numerals, brown alligator strap. That would be nice :)
