i won't ever bother with the Snapdragon 801 variant manz.....

The Snapdragon 805 version is so cheap now..... and with Mastercard discount, only $620

But I'm surprised by how big the price diff is for some models of export
phones (when compared to their local set counterparts).... it sometimes makes me wonder if it's worth paying that much more just for warranty............

You should check how much replacing parts will costs. Then you'll know whether worth to pay for warranty.

i am facing the same issue! Contacted lg they said that i need to have the original receipt to bring it down for maintenance

yeah seems like a common issue from xda forum. The crack just appeared one day when i took it out from my casing to change the sd card. Think should have been there for quite some time. Not causing any problem but just abit irritating to know that its there, especially when i know I took care of the phone well.

Apparently it will affect charging and the transfer if files through usb in the long run so im planning to bring it down for a change. Im just worried about whether the solution is going to be permanent or just a stop gap measure

I probably wait awhile more until I get bored of the phone then go claim warranty for this so that the person buying will have a new casing.

Local sets are still on Snapdragon 801 and no news if they are bringing in the Snapdragon 805 variants.

I doubt they will be bringing in the Snapdragon 805 variants.

As a rule of thumb, turn autocorrect off for any keyboard. Avoids any embarrassing situation.

you mean the LG keyboard? go to settings-->apps, look for LG keyboard and uninstall updates

Why not consider installing Google Keyboard? Much better than LG's.

does the g3 come with a screen protector sticked on to it or any sort of protective film? just ordered my g3 from singtel and a glass screen protector from some china website. afraid that the glass screen protector would take long to arrive.
