NOT covered by warranty.

i wonder how much testing watch makers perform on their products these days. or really have we moved away from tool watch into jewelry.

That's some drop/knock, considering the impact needed to break the lug.

Hi guys, have been following this thread for quite awhile now, would appreciate if anyone can share any experiences purchasing from skywatches online before? I'm really keen to get the seiko skx007k. It's going for $180 on skywatches compared to $230 on creationwatches. Wondering if they're legit? Thanks!

skywatches is legit. you can even go down to the shop after completing the order. just make sure you check the currency used to display the price - last i checked default is USD.

Ceramic case for this dark side of the moon. That's the risk of such a material, very scratch resistant and light but more brittle. I would be shocked only if that was a stainless steel speed master.

Confirm not covered by warranty as it is user damage from drop or knock. Far as I know no ceramic case watch from any manufacturer is touted to be shatter proof...

simple google reveals more heartbreaking pics:

ceramic case? i pray / hope this will not happen to my blackshield...

yes ceramic. scatch free and tough to a certain point. after that i think the scenario can be described as "catastrophic failure". according to internet chatter the replacement cost is 70% of the retail price.

but who cares lah, just wear and please share some pics with us :)
