mine still has the new rubber smell lolx. but i wash it everyday . going to order a few more straps soon , and start saving up for another pam.

Oh yes! The more you use it, the higher the chance of the scales to start curling.

One of my fav straps is this cobra NATO strap. You can see the scales curling!

Here's a dark blue alligator strap that I purchased from Panerai Florence. Was there on a pilgrimage to the first Pam store. I had to buy something so here is one of 3 straps that I bought.

Of course, this strap is for my wife and her Pam 219, measuring 24/22, 98 x 68mm.
