pro4 service course...
not old, i got them like earlier this year, in feb...
not deflated too...

not direct exposure to sun since i hang my bike in living room away from windows, but i don't draw my curtains...
my front wheel is nearer to the sun if thats the case, but nothing like this on the front tyre leh. :s22::s22:
mine fizik elbow pad has also begin disintegrating like that also. i think because the rubber they use is softer

Err, don't suggest you ride in those tyres.

Oh man, these are still pretty new and i done less than 1k on them.

do u know if this is a known quality defect from michelin?
As in, should i get or trust michelin tyres again?

thanks...

Better to stick to continental, your defect should be the disintegration of the threading that holds the air pressure in the tyres. Michelin tyres do have some issues as they are softer than your normal tyres giving a little more grip. If you cycle often, then its ok, if u always need to stop cycling, I advise against it. Furthermore, the lifespan is also shorter.

Ok, thanks a lot for sharing. I can't cycle as often as I used/wish to, so maybe its a good idea to change the rubber.

Conti what will be a good model? Do you carry them?

Gp4000 Sii

But frankly I think it's okay to ride as long as the inner Kevlar layer isn't compromised
