Singtel Internet ping Google giving request timeout.

While StarHub 3G Mobile broadband is perfectly fine.

I guess is Singtel infrastructure faulty. Even 4G/3G network on Singtel is affected.

For goodness sakes.

Why are people still using the supplied Aztech s**t?!?!...

Go grab an Asus. Problem settled.

Any single time better than that piece of junk. Period.

No la, it is the network suck. Read the Unlimited plan thread the downloading speed is quite slow.

no la...my wifi drop off frequently and2 of my wifi ac adapter can't hit 130 on my ST 300M. After replaced 3rd 7003 (1st and 2nd can't detect 5G) so far after 2 days of using...all ok and wifi can hit 189++ too....:D!

B'cos it's FREE...:D:D:D!

Not true that it is Aztech 7003 issue. I read the ST Unlimited thread and noticed that one user using ASUS AC router but his real world download speed is no faster than ST 500Mbps plan. I guess it is network fault as my family notice like not enough bandwidth when video streaming at night after 9pm.

I am thinking of taking up another isp when ST contract reach 18 mth onwards. ST has insufficient bandwidth. It was my wife who decide to recontract with ST from 200M to 500M. She can not blame me for choosing the wrong isp as she made the decision.

What is the difference between unlimited plan and other plans?

The price is quite attractive for the unlimited bandwidth plan.
What is the difference between this plan and other plans?
Why will people go for other limited bandwidth plan? (200 Mbps, 300, 500)

Called hotline

Seems that they do not provide modem for the unlimited bandwidth plan.
You need to purchase your own modem.
Current they provide three options with 100 dollars off: (Aztec FG7008GR(AC) 339, Asus RT-AC87U 399 and NETGEAR Nighthawk X6 399)

ONT will remain unchanged. My current 200 Mbps Singtel Modem is not compatible with the new plans.

For Unlimited, if the router is faulty you have to bring it down to the router service centre for 1 to 1 exchange and you need to set up the router yourself. ST support till ONT only. If you play game or watch video streaming like HK TVB live broadcast then suggest VQ 600M.
