Got 2 units of AX40 based on WRX recommendations :)

WRX, how much are the AX40 filters you got from Taobao? Can we use the AX40 filter on the AX20 too?

Bought another 4pcs for the Samsung AX40 : new size 310mm x 282mm x 44mm.

Seller said 310mm x 282mm x 46mm is not possible. Coz dunno what is only possible for double layer HEPA net. The current quality/construction works for me, so i do not want to change the HEPA material itself.

Still is H12 grade.

Only RMB110 per piece for 1 bulk purchase of 4pcs. (was RMB120 per piece previously).

More expensive than the ready-made ones for A40 (RMB135 for 2 pieces, 32mm thick) but sinne it's custom and 44mm thick.

bro 44 and 46mm thk no difference right?

You'd have to measure the AX20 filter, don't think they are of the same size as the AX40 is visibly larger in the stores (AX41 and AX022).

In a pack of 4, it's rmb440 shipped to 4PX. 4PX is in Shenzhen. Seller is in SZ too.

A pack of 4 + shipping box/packing is about 1.6kg. Combine with your other TB purchases. It's 43rmb for first 1kg and 12rmb for every 0.5kg step to ship from 4PX to SIN. Will recommend deliver to POPstation for stress free experience (package shd not be oversized). 37 x 42 x 61cm max

Thanks WRX!!! Any chance you will be getting more filters or starting a MO for this? I'm absolutely lost when I'm on TB :s13::s13::s13:

No worries, there is online help. Just post in the official taobao thread.

You'd need to install aliwangwang (the IM program to contact the seller) and also know how to use Microsoft pinyin and configure Chinese input.

There's a learning curve but it's worth it. If shopping is part of your wife's or your hobby, the taobao platform can do crazy amounts of things, air purifier filters is just the tip of the iceberg. Amazon can serve the branded portions.

Taobao got sell?

Thanks

Sharp a28 can go Amazon buy Fellowes HF-230 true H13 HEPA. Freeship if hot usd125.

Usd24.95 . Easy to cut into size and then use tissue paper to cover gap. I am using that now for my A28. 10 minute job nia.

Check the dimensions of your filter. Search on TB for Sharp FZ-380 and confirm the dimensions of your Sharp A50 are correct.
It will be around there.

You can get it from the same seller here. But it costs RMB146, and I believe his is only 32mm from this link. ALWW him and see if you can customise something like 450mm x 250mm x 40mm thickness. Get a discount by buying 4pieces. I recommend this guy coz he knows what he is doing as his factory does a wide range of apps even for cleanroom H13-H14 grade. The stuff he is using for air purifiers is H12, 99.5% @ 0.3 microns. More than good enough.

With new info regarding the possibility of mold growing....you may wish to shorten to 6 to 9 months. If not much smell at all then perhaps 12 mths. You can swap between a brand new filter and the old one....sure smell differently at the output airflow area.

You install the Fellowes HF-230 True HEPA H13 grade filter this way in the Sharp A28. Slice off a bit, stuff the small gap with tissue paper. (see oic)

Perfect depth fit.

The original Sharp filter is SGD50, but is a H10 EPA filter (Efficiency Particulate Arrest). The cheaper stuff you see on taobao are based on this H10, or even F9 grade from what I ALWW from another seller. They would still work ok even in a haze situation, each filter perhaps would be in the range of RMB60+.

Initially, there is a wee bit of "new" smell, it goes away with about 24hours of usage.

Replacement filter for Sharp KC-930E

Hi Bro WussRedXLi,

You have any recommendation for HEPA or True HEPA filter for Sharp KC-930E from Taobao?
Currently it is using a all-in-one filter that does not meet HEPA standard.
I did a measurement and the dimension is about 378mm x 236-237mm x 31-32mm.

Thanks in advance.

I am presently using this Clair BF2025 (go-clair.com) Its the best air purifier I have tried so far to help alleviate my asthma attacks and surprisingly the filters last most than a year and I just have to clean them using a vacuum cleaner once a month .

Sorry to say it doesn't come with fancy features and 4 or 5 filters which you need to replace every month and nor is it big and noisy like all the air purifiers I used in the past .I would recommend this air purifier to anybody who is looking for a reasonably priced air purifier which actually does the job of keeping the indoor air clean.
