Hi all ! i would like to check with you what brand and model will be suitable for the range above, i was looking for Samsung 5 series with smart TV, but when i went to courts, the promoter suggesting me that dont buy a smart TV as it is quite pointless and using a android box would be more worth it, thus he promote a Philips Tv to me with free android box.
so what you guys think ? is Philips TV that good?
Philips model: 50pfl3108 & 58pft5409/98
Samsung Model: UA46h5303 & UA48H6400

How about Toshiba REGZA L5450 with entire Android built in as opposed to Smart TV function on other brands?

I am looking at this model too. Somehow toshiba brand
isnt mentioned frequently here? Anyone using L4300? Any reviews on the android sys or toshiba display?

Toshiba QA is good.

My mother house had 2 32" TVs, one Samsung which already panel gone liao after coming near to 3 years usage but the Toshiba one is still working fine.

But then again, the Samsung one is in the Kitchen and she used it quite often as compare to the Toshiba one which is in the living room used only during night time by my brother.

Only their higher end series for this particular year is good. Past years' lineup PQ really CMI...

40-42 inch tv

Hi

Am looking for a new tv.

Budget $600

Just need basic full HD will do.

Should I be looking at the usual courts and Harvey Norman sites for deals, or online shops such as lazada?

Panasonic TH-42A410S @ $599 at many stores.

Using S-IPS panel and the colours are really good.

keen on the 47inch toshiba L5450 too. Anyone knows what's the storage on this thing?2GB? Tried to google but really cnnot find, and most results are in thai.
