I've not requested an exchange, as I know even tho i do it now they will be the same REV with same problems.

I'm actually thinking of refunding this monitor and get the new Samsung curved 21:9 3000:1 contrast and uses SVA panel, should be better since its not IPS panel?

everyone brought has blb, making me hold back.

I not sure what is blb n then, I went to YouTube and saw the review by someone 2 days ago. Blb means blacklight bleeds, now I know. He solved it by using the DDM, the unit ok after that.

I will be having it tmrw, hopes I wouldn't have much problems. Back to the video.

Just got the monitor delivered to me. Seem ok (maybe my eyes not trained for BIB) but I do compare with the user who posted BIB. The monitor which I got is alright, no different color at corners. Only thing is that the monitor will switch the brightness/contrast whenever I switch to different applications as auto setting from DDM.

So far so good, my old monitor for backup or link to laptop etc. Happy with my purchase. :D

Found BIB only when in gaming. Playing The Crew, the corner looks like what other posted. But on other applications, no BIB. So, I think that those effects are normal, only appears on black with foreground in color. To me, it's ok, as long working fine, it's for the rest.

Samsung de is using VA panel. Same viewing angle as IPS but BLB wont be so jialat for sure. Eh price if im not wrong should be 1698...Can go lower. SLS Fuwell has ready stocks.
IPS confirm got BLB de. is jus a matter how jialat only and to what extent you can accept it.

I find that this size and resolution is optimal for computing

I find that 31" or 27" 4K monitor is simply not practical for computing..
there is a 31" 4K display at Funan Dell, you can go there and take a look...
launch a browser there and you will find that it's impossible to read any text from internet

I think to make it practical, 4k monitor will have to have at least 35" in size.

I feel that whether or not 4k is pratical for computing...all draws down to the eyeside of the viewer n or getting use to it....for me the initial start find it too tiny...coming from 1080p but after almost 2 mths to it...i find it quite ok already...

This is very subjective bah, I myself initially thought using 3440x1440p at 100% was too small to read everywhere, so I put 125% scale, but after a week, I switch back to 100% and find myself enjoying it better with no issues.

Largely depend on ones adaptation
